..Done the 10k, walking in 1 hr 39 m...It lashed rain but feeling very proud of myself with that time :)

you must be a fast walker, i normally run 10km in about an hour and 10mins usually once a month, and we normally go cross country and into the mountains. a friend and his bird done the madrid 10km last week in about an hour, i couldn´t because i woke up that same day with an aching ankle. i even bought the fecking t-shirt and dorsal, it was cancer research
oh well theres always next time

Thanks piggynose, yeah we were walking fairly fast alright, feeling it now somewhat. A lot of people were saying the elite runners would be finished in 40mins..I couldn't belive it..that's impressive
