First I have heard of it, but as Robin Hood is very unlikedly to have existed anyway the chances are close to zero.
1. It's a legend.
2. Unlikely.
3. Do you really think that the folks on AB can provide the definitive answers on this ?

If they can, Ive got one or two pithy questions about Roswell, the assassination of JFK and Lord Lucan...........
Intresting link here, read it and form your own opinions.

thats exactely what i thought but i need a probable answer because i know he didn't actually exist
If he didn't exist the amount of things he 'could have done' is endless............they don't have to have the slightest shred of evidence..........well, because there won't be any.

So, if you wish to insist (like Kevin Costner) that Robin Hood was in the Crusades, go ahead......there is NO evidence to the contrary, either.

he probably wasn't, was he?
Some one asked a similar question a few weeks back, have a look here:

http://www.theanswerb...s/Question879509.html

I have never heard that Robin Hood was in the crusades (unless in a very early one), he was doing his alleged deeds here while the King was away on crusade, I remember one story about the King coming back from Crusade and Robin having to account for what he was up to.
Not he crusading sort in my mind.
Ask Russel Crow, he is the next Robin Hood.
I think the question before the question has to be, are we accepting that Robin Hood existed? Some interesting debate and comment in this month's BBC History Magazine - link to description only http://www.bbchistory...e.com/issue/june-2010
You have to buy the mag to get the content.
They do mail order Naruto, so living miles from any libraries as you do shouldn't deter you from getting a copy.

What did he rob Roy of?
Oh, that was just cheap. I feel so ashamed.
No he wasn't. He stayed home and looked after the poor - especially against King John (of Magna Carta fame) whilst King Richard was off enjoying(?) himself in the Crusades. Poor Benegaria. (If that's how you spell her name).
