in news has got me thinking. Years ago when I had my own business I used to see an old chap walking his dog everyday. He was a nice chap and we used to pass the time of day. His dog died and I would see him less often. Then I heard from a neighbour of his (who considered herself to be a Christian) that he had died but had no family. I went to his funeral taking some flowers. It turned out he was a retired grave digger at the same cemetry. I sat through his funeral service in the sole company of the undertaker and no-one else. Makes you think.

You must be very special people to cope with all this being heaped on you together. You make my problems sound negligible in comparison. I am so grateful all my treatment is straight forward and has not been subjected to delays. My heart goes out to you both.
soz for late replies but I'm a slooow reader lol ;)
Years ago I went to the funeral of 'the old man next door' my mum n dad had been split up years, but they still both went, as did my dad's 2 sisters! but if it hadn't have been for 'my' family, there would have only been that mans 2 daughters :( I do find it sad when there isn't many folk around to say a final goodbye :(
