one in the pub and one my niece is running for her play group. Ivory coast in one Netherlands in the other dont know what the odds are but I'll go and have a couple of quid on each, just in case

We've gone a step further and done a guess the winner competition. It needs a bit of a nifty spreadsheet and of course some rules, but allows entrants to predict the score of all games, resulting in them predicting the eventual winner. A bit more scientific than a sweepstake and it certainly gets the debate going

I got Portugal and Brazil. Both are in the same group so I guess one of them should qualify for the knockout stages. Although if it comes to it potentially England could meet Brazil in the Semi so I'll be really torn then:

England to win World Cup or Tigersam to win World Cup Sweepstake. Hmmm......

We did the sweepstake with half the pot to the winner and half to Shelter.
