JNO- I agree to an extent but the way that large companies act and thier greed is a huge part of it we are guilty by suppoting these people but that why we are called the silent majority :-(
I saw the Who at the Young Vic in Waterloo for nothing in 1971 twice I have seen them 19 times since.
Who didn't I see that I regret Deep Purple I know they reformed but....
Saw Zepp, the Stones so many and you could lose you hearing in the Marquee club.

I'd love to relive the 70s too, it was brilliant, lots to do, places to go, I spent my 18th in Torremolinos in 1973 and it was probably the best holiday I have had, almost! We could do what we wanted, it was easy to pass a driving test, the music was so varied and it was an amazing time for football, Goodison Park was easy to get into and the clothes were amazing. I could live it all again (cue for a song lol)
yes carrust - very jealous!
Dave - no I was born in Wolverhampton, and my folks moved back to Newcastle-under-Lyme from where they both opriginate, and I've leved in this area ever since.
I would have loved to live in london in the 70's, or 60's because of seeing bands like the Stones in their teen pomp doing r 'n' b at the Marquee.
