Close call this for me, but as my favourite Sport is Football I will go for the World Cup !

The only thing that I will be watching in the olympics is the sprinting, everything else fails to interest me. The worldcup is completely different beast I think, as even though Im not a football fan normally I'm completely swept off my feet my feet by it. What a a treat it is! Football is something played globally by rich and poor. I can't remember ever seeing people on the beach constructing a high jump, or hurdle circuit and saying they were a man down and could I join in their game, have you?

The World Cup is watched by many more people. And don't forget, a lot of the olympic events are sports which normally would go un-watched. It's really only the Athletics which commands a worldwide audience

It's still the Olympics for me as I like watching athletics, cycling, swimming, rowing, and the tennis.
