XBox Turkey

I posted a question some weeks ago about a friend who was looking to take his XBox to Turkey and was wondering about connections, power supply etc. I inadvertently suggested it was a XBox 360 he was taking and the answer I got was that this would be ok as there was a built in step up / dowm mechanism in the power supply. It is actually a plain XBox he is taking, what does he need to take with him for this to work safely. I believe the power supply in Turkey is 220 volts ?
