itchy skin

my 19 year old daughter has a skin rash which she says is hot itchy and uncomfortable,
the doctor has given her piriton which has helped a lttle can anyone recomend any cream to sooth the itching or anything herbal i can make up at home ?

Eurax cream or lotion is very good at helping to stop the itching. You will have to buy it from a pharmacy.

There seems to be a lot a scabies spreading in young adults at present - a tube of lyclear costs a tenner from the pharmacy, does no harm and puts your mind at rest.

I use Savlon which seems to work for me.....and if she does scratch it, it helps against infection.

i went to the chemist recently and begrudgingly bought a spray called " salcura" intensive, begrudging because it was one of those all natural ones that has nothing nasty in it, so me being the sceptic didnt hold out a lot of hope.

however I have to revise my opinion, it calmed down my rash almost immediately (I have had this rash forever and it flares up regularly) they told me it would be going on prescription onl;y soon, I urge you to try it
