i've had yahoo messenger on my pc for years, and used it just fine.  recently though, whenever i log on and click on something it brings up this messages: ypager.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.  you will need to restart the program.  an error log is being created.  It then shuts down.  if i just log on and dont click on anything on it, it will do it automatically after a few minutes.  i've tried restarting.  i've tried reinstalling about a million times.  anybody got any ideas?

If you are running Win XP and a version of Yahoo Messenger less than v. 5 then Yahoo say there is a known issue with ypager......download the latest version and install it..........otherwise can't help....commoner

i'm on windows 2000 professional, dont know what version messenger is.  but it must be the latest one cos i've been downloading it every day.
