Breakfast rant-----

Got a new toaster yesterday , so used it today for the first time. Bread in , toaster on and turned away to make some coffee. Heard the toaster click off, looked but no toast to be seen.
One piece was on the top of a unit , the other down the back of the freezer, must have travelled like an enroute Exocet missile.
Always promised to clean behind that freezer,so will do when I get back from Comet with a different model.
Just cannot cope with toast having a life of its own --all too much.!!!!

I've heard that bread has to rise brenda - but not with such gusto and force!!

Is it a Dualit? They have some ooomph. Well, mine does anyway. But all my electrical gadgets seem to have weird ways.

I made some toast in the grill for the first time in years. It's so much better than a toaster....but you have to careful, I burnt the first four slices.
