Just had letter through my door from housing company -

Sorry to be a bore but we really would appreciate it if the England Flag could be taken down now. We are trying hard to keep everything looking good whilst we try to sell more houses.

lol ttfn

i hate them personally but will defend your right to wave your bl00dy flag from the treetops!
not necessarily, what if a landlord buys 3 of the houses and lets them to dss or asylum seekers?
i personally think they have a point - quite often there are covenants etc when you buy houses. Mine prevents me using mine for religious meetings (despite the fact it is MY house).
it sounds like thye have asked you more than once as well.
Plus, flags of any sort draped over houses look very chavvy!

....cancels budhists meeting on friday
in your opinion bednobs but why doesn't 4get have the right to wave her flag if she wants to, its not hurting anyone now is it?

i hate this arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
hhhhhh
Question Author
this is not chavvy, I'll have you know it is ruby encrusted and framed in a gold leaf. Much better than the queens flag, the big old chav.

Theyve only asked me this once.

salla nothing at all, some are council on here but when you're in a town like mine, the other housing estate didnt do too well and gave the houses to gypsies.
Question Author
well I cant find any 'documents' stating anything about banners
salla, nothing wrong with council at all.

last huge estate was only part sold so the local travellers were given the rest of them.

when i bought a house on an estate that wouldnt sell i ended up with a house worth 27k compared to the 50k i had bought it for 6 months previous, though i did have a selection (3 in a small road of 28 homes) of drug dealers.

taking down a flag is a small price to pay, sorry sis.
4get, just put it in window at back of house, or pop a flag on your car if you really feel the need to have a flag
I am Scottish and my views on England being in the world cup are non-PC.

But it is your country's flag - I can't understand why anybody would object to you supporting your team in such an event.

When Scotland gets into the next world cup (and win) I will hang my flag with pride.

But the horn things should be banned - I can only imagine the noise that they create.
Perhaps the housing company would prefer you to have your body painted as the flag and then sit in your window all day? just be careful where you paint the holes for the lanyards
Question Author
now I draw the line at car flags sis :-) S has just got back and we've decided we are putting it inside window instead thus breaking no rule lol
Great idea - take down the banners and put up - ta da - Bananas!!

Tell 'em I told you to, in my name.
You only want the nice policeman to take down your particulars - naughty salla
Mmmm - depends on the policeman in question.

(By the way - have you noticed how young they look these days?!)
But mere infants. Even the judges look young (apparently)
Tell em to bog off!!! It's your house!!
