Some of my colleagues have had botox/restalayne in South Africa. I`ve heard about the odd boob job as well. It`s a good place to go because their standards are good and it`s cheaper than the UK

SIL had lipo-s in UK & 5y later re-gained the weight; had it re-done in Spain only to re-gain weight & be left with heart defect at 55y.

its not really a weight issue for me, im not fat, its more shaping cellulite and potbelly

its only cheaper because you dont recieve the same aftercare as you would over here. My friend had a boob job in belguim because it was nearly 2000 cheaper but she also came back with a severe infection which resulted in her losing her left nipple and implant. she is now has now been told that she will not be entitled to any reconstructive work on the nhs as she didnt have the surgery in this country, and understandably she will NOT go back to belgium. Make sure you do all the relevant research and get personal recommendations if you can :-)

lotsafun....that is odd that she didn't return to Belgium to have the complication attended to,as the surgeon would have been "duty bound"to see her.

Always seemed a bit of a gamble to me. I'm sure many places have health/medical standards equal or even exceeding our own; but how do you know you found one and not a dodgy clinic ? You need a credible recommendation from offical health/medical bodies.
