Well at last coming to the end of stripping off wallpaper right into the brick - last decorator left lining of the old paper and papered over that.

Never mind that now - I am now into the brick I am considering some nice bedroom lighting so the electrician would be first in line - anybody any nice ideas - all I have a ceiling light and 2 lamps.

I really do want to revamp this bedroom in a bright way as it is mine and since I dont be too well - spend a lot of time in the room. Helpful ideas please!!!

We had re-wiring done in our bedroom, and got a neat ceiling light with 3 low energy bulbs, then had 2 wall lights just above the bed-head, one at each side to use as reading lights, they all match (single lights on wall). We still think it looks like a hotel room (when it's tidy!)

Otherwise what about striplights to highlight pictures. mirrors etc, they can look very smart in a bedroom.

I really wanted one of those huge lights with a fan attached for our central light, but Mr Woolie said it wouldnt be worth the cost for the few hot days we have. Guess who was sweltering the other night. Ha!

thanks wooliej for your wee answer - I was myself thinking myself of those terms - however I am going to get rid of my monster of a tv - oldfashioned and put a plasma on the wall then perhaps have floor lamp and reading lamps to match and maybe as you say even one striplight of a nice picture. Thanks again
