Anyone here work for Vodaphone?

I just wanted to ask a quick question...

nomercy all the people that work for vodafone in my area are being made redundant..the jobs are going abroad...sorry my answere is probably of no relevance to you question....

It's a simple one really, and one that probably doesn't require an employee to answer.

I've come away without my phone charger and was wondering if I popped it into a Vodaphone shop, would they charge it up for me, or just put a charged battery into it?

They've done it for me on numerous occasions in Hereford, but my mate worked in that shop. I was hoping to pop down to Harbourne later.

Because the last one I bought is crap and cost £10, and I do this too often to justify buying a new charger each time. They usually keep fully charged replacement batteries in the back of the shop, don't they?

I would imagine so... (charge it that is, they wouldn't swap the battery)

Or a lot of larger shopping centers have phone charging point in them where you lock you phone in a cupboard, last one I saw I think it was £1 for an hours charge.

Also a lot of newer phones can be charged from USB with any standard USB cable.

Thanks Chuck. My mate in the Hereford shop just changed the battery over for me last time, to save me having to go back and collect the phone. I will pop in and see what can be done, if I can find a shop in Harbourne.

Isn't your network of no relevance? Surely it's the model of your phone i.e. Nokia, samsung or whatever it is? When I did this a few weeks back I popped into one of the larger hotels in town and said I'd stayed recently and left my phone charger. They gave me one from the left property. :n)
