High Court Enforcement Fees

As some of you may remember, Our Jaguar car was seized by Bailiffs and sold at auction in regard to claims made by 3 Plaintiffs. We went to court to try and stop this but sadly lost. The one Claimant who really pushed for the sale of the car has now sent us a claim for costs of £1558.58 that they want paying in 7 days.
Their claim was for £900.00 and therefore they pushed for the sale because, being the smallest claim they would definitey be paid. Am I to expect these same costs to be levied against us by the other two claimants who, at the court hearing were happy to take a charge on our house.
I have no idea what the car was sold for but the sale estimate was £3500.00. I would have thought that these costs were deducted from the sale price.
Can anyone give me some help here. This nightmare just goes on and on.

Start by asking for details of what the car was sold for, and what is to be repaid to each plaintiff, including their costs.
When one loses a court case such as this, the winning side will ask for costs, which they will normally get. This is precisely how a small debt ends up as a large debt when lawyers get involved. They want to the paid (by the losing side).
Were you represented? Didn't your solicitor explain all this?

The list of costs all apertain to the costs incurred by the Bailiff, ie petrol charges to come to our house, storage charges for the car, search fees on the car, auctioneer's commission, visits by the officer etc, none of which were incurred by the Claimant.
So my question still stands. How can these solicitors claim all these costs for the one Claimant?
I will ask the question about how much the car realised. Thank you.
