Tiger Balm

How many of you have used Tiger Balm and what for? Did it work?

I have just discovered it is wonderful for healing spots on the face.

Yes, but it was just by accident I found this use for it.

yes, first sign of a headache I rub some on my forehead and temples (the clear version, not the yellow one!).

I've used it on my aching arms after painting. It did help immensely to ease my aching muscles. I think it's a good thing to have in the medicine cabinet or first aid kit.

I've got a pot in my cupboard and have only used it on aches and pains. Does it really work on spots ? If so, I will smother my son 's face in it...........(:0 (

Dens, don't use it on the face or near the eyes - it will cause the eyes to water and burn like hell. And the face area is delicate so that will burn too.

I used it last night to relieve tension in shoulder and neck that was bringing a headache on. Wouldn't like it near my face as it is such a pungent smell.

thats what I thought, Society, but we have tried every potion and lotion on his face, but the only thing that clears them up is being out in the sun.

Is your son going through puberty? Did he try Proactive? I've seen it worked for teenagers - their face came back smooth and clean.

Thanks for the link Mamy - I will look into that. I think he is now getting fed up with the 'pebbledashed' look on his face.

Don't risk it Den - if it doesn't work on stripes it probably won't work on spots either
