It will look like this, the red and white go to TV, the other end goes to PC.

Assuming you've used the 15pin VGA cable ( http://vgatodvicable..../07/vga-connector.jpg ) then you also need to connect the headphone/speaker out on the laptop to the PC audio in on the TV.
normally that would require one of these leads. http://www.amazon.co....ug-1-2M/dp/B00077DC3S
But check the input type one the back of the TV as it may be different.

As I said, check the input on the TV before buying anything, most PC audio inputs on TVs are 3.5mm jack (headphone type connectors) as I linked to, but some are twin phono plugs like benny linked to.
also if it's a plasma be very careful about leaving the same image on the screen for long, because you will get screen burn. if it's a LCD nothing to worry about.

It will weigh half a ton and get very hot after long use.....
Or just stick the model number into google :)
screen burn is something to be very worried about on plasma screens when used with computers, it would only take a few hours of displaying the same menus at the top of the screen for it to start to get screen burn.
