Why do these sports 'scientists' bother to create these new footballs?
It seems fairly obvious from the games so far that the balls are way too light. How many corners and free-kicks have been 'over hit' and ended up way past the area they were intended for? How many shots from free kicks have ended up over the bar? How many spectacular goals from long range shots have we seen?
Moral of the story? If it ain't broken don't fix it
