anyone got any info on why yahoo appears to be down

well its not here in south yorks
in either firefox or ie my friends is off 2 miles away too
it works for me......try Ctrl F5 to clear your cache

thanks tambourine its fine now its the first time that's happened and i clear cache on each shut-down

i had something similar the other day the only web pages i could get on was answerbank :s everything else wouldn't come up ended up restarting computer and it was fine , so if clearing your cache doesn't work try that

having said its ok its not and my mate 2 miles away is still off so cant be the cache it yahoo mail I'm after not the search engine
switch off & on again after 10secs for changes to take effect.

i have done .the comp is ok all round with everything else but nothing concerning yahoo will load up could be something external
Yahoo have been showing as having some service problems tonight.

give it until the morning and it'll probably be fine..
