breeding coldwater fish

how hard is it to breed, and keep alive the young of goldfish, danios, barbs and w.c.m minnows.

They were sold to me as coldwater fish. Danios are adaptable according to source i've read and are in the coldwater section of my book. Barbs are in the temeprate section but cherry barbs specifically arne't in the book, it's only a small guide to beggining fish breeding.

boo, i was going for biodiversity within my tank and was given the two barbs as a present. But i think i'll get a bigger tank for my birthday and get more little'uns.

They're happily darting about in and out of the plants and ornaments.

They don't always dart around, they are at the moment as they've just been fed probably.

Put a heater in there for christ sake....danios and barbs are tropical fish from India and south east Asia.

You will not make any money breeding them, the fry (which are only just visible with the naked eye) will need a seperate tank and specialist food including newly hatched brine shrimp (which requires another tank, heater and air pump)

You will never make any money breeding fish with the possible exception of dwarf cichlids and angelfish
