Am I cracking up or have they shown this series of Silent Witness in the wrong order?

This weeks had Nikki in it as an outsider who the others barely knew, and during it they offered her a job in their department.  But she's been working in their department for the whole of the series.

Any idea's why?  I can't think of any news items that would have made it inappropriate to show this weeks episodes at the beginning of the run.

As far as I am aware, in the true wisdom of BBC they are repeating the whole series, just like they did with that other one with Dennis Waterman.

No not repeating the whole series I think just a filler between end of series and bank holiday weekend when they are showing Messiah.
