free or cheap Internet for a week

hiya, does anyone know of a way i can get the internet for about a week? I've just increased my service plan but it doesn't kick in until the 10Th of this month and I'm running out of usage :-(

You could buy a toggle for a week, ask at any pc electrical shop.

If you ask for a toggle at a pc/electrical shop you will get some confused looks...

I think trt might have meant a dongle.

but I reckon that may be an expensive way to do it, can't you check with your ISP to see what the charges are for going over your allowance, it may be easier and cheaper just to pay for the extra usage.

Use a pub hotspot .. or free wi-fi. Park outside and try!
Use a neighbours wi-fi with/without permission.

ow :-( sorry trt, i ment the 10th of next month. I've tried to use wifi from my flat as i live near to the town and a pub, but it's all security protected. My current package is only £5 for the first 500mgs then it gets really expensive when you go over. I guess i could go and see how much another dongle would be, but i think chuck is right with regards to it being expensive. Ow :-( no internet for me for a little while now :-(

I do have a sharing agreement with neighbours .. if we lose or have a problem with our own connections.

What's taking so long...........I upgraded my broadband yesterday with BT and it was effective today.

I do get on well with a couple of them, but i think it will affect their usage as although it says it's unlimited there's still the far use policy.
I might call orange and ask if they can start it sooner, they just said that it will start on the 10th as that's when it gets reset.
