Difficult to say. The technology will no doubt be developed one day, but there will have to be great debate on the morality and implications of human cloning before it is used.

I cannot prove this but I think that scientists have or have tried to clone human beings,although they haven't said anything....I may be well wrong, though that is my opinion.

It is bound to happen. When money is involved, and the technology is there, someone will do it - whether it is illegal or not. So either mad scientists will do it by way of experimentation or desperate people will do it to replace their children. By the way, I see it was announced today we will have genetically engineered cats in two years - bred to stop them causing allergies. People will always tinker with nature, even for the most ridiculous reasons.
