I have asked before and forgotten the group who sang Something old, something new something borrowed something blue, a one off song from the Seventies, I would love to get hold of the record or find out if I can download it as it reminds me of a lovely girl I went out with who I have just found out died a few years ago. Hi Englishbird, I tried and tried to get hold of her on Friends Reunited and finally plucked up courage and rang the old phone number (after 30 odd years) spoke to her mom and found out she died aged 43 but me and her Mom have spoke several times and she has asked me next time I'm up that way to call in. Still all I need now is to get the record, found it on ebay and made an offer so will let you know Cheers Tonyx

Glad you've found the song Tony - it must have been a terrible shock when you found out your friend had died.  I've been thinking of getting in touch with someone myself but as you say it takes courage & the older you get....x

Robinia, don't think about it do it, I had one sad answer but I also got in touch with another girlfriend from 30 years ago and nothings changed we still think the world of each other. DO IT x
