dvd unlock code ?

Thinking of buying a JVC DR-MV5 dvd & vhs combi, just wondered if anyone knows of an unlock code to make multi region, cheers.

I googled on "dvd unlock codes" to post a link but there are a gazillion websites so I suggest that you google then have a search

I'm not sure that this can be unlocked using traditional handset codes.

You can buy a DVD for about �20 that updates the firmware on JVC players but to be honest your better off just chosing a different manufacturer. I've always chosen a Samsung player because they always tend to have a handset hack available on them and playback has always been fine.

i didnt even know you could do that.  i got a crown dvd player, anyone have a code?  if i went to one of those links at the side of the page, how much would it cost?

Immortal, I certainly would never pay for a handset hack. You don't say what model of Crown player you have, but this site lists a few models and the handset hacks -
