I am hoping to get tickets for my daughter and I to see Garth in Vegas for November. Getting closer to succeeding!!! What is motivating you to get up for work every day?

looking forward to the arrival of my first grandchild next month.
I actually don't need motivation to get out of bed, I get out of bed the second I open my eyes, lying in bed is boring! I would rather watch paint dry than lie in bed.
As for work, again I don't need motivation, I love going to work. At the moment I am off work after an operation for 2 weeks, I miss being at work and I'm sure I will pop in to work tomorrow to see everybody and give all my old ladies a big hug :) I do enjoy spending more time with my Carakeel and the dogs though :)
Im looking forward to be able to walk my dogs, get back to work and be free of pain.
Looking forward to the Summer events in our town.
Looking forward to school breaking up so I can spend some time with my kids.

Sailing this weekend, then a 3 week holiday in Cornwall & sailing around the Cornwall/Devon/Dorset coasts in August.
That, and just being glad to be alive & healthy - and seeing my 'children' so happy & settled.
Oh, and I have to pay the bills :-(

ahhhh salla love that pic, as I get older I definately appreciate Elvis more and also think that had I been born sooner I would have been a big fan of his. I've seen both my best faves (except Garth), Niel Diamond and The Monkees,
Never been to Cornwall or Devon but would love to, especially Cornwall as the mental image off the coast has stayed with me since I read the Winston Graham Poldark books when I was in my late teens.
Elvis was really quite something in his youth wasn't he? Phwoar.... I especially love Elvis' ballads (stop it you lot ... I'm not being rude). He had such a melting voice. What a tragic end.
Cornwall is indeed beautiful - a bit craggy for sailing around - Devon & Dorset are easier for the type of yacht we have (deep keel). You would love it Dot, I'm sure.

I definately think I would love that sort of holiday, best moment of any holiday I had was sailing along the coast of Cuba on a catamaran watching Dolphins chase along aside in the blue water and Michael Jacksons Billy Jean on the boat's music system blasting out....magic moment.

We used The Wonder Of You at mum's funeral it was her favourite song.x
I love Wonder of You. And Always On My Mind has to be my favourite - for sentimental reasons also.
I've been on a glass bottomed boat in Jamaica which was great. I personally have never seen dolphins but my BF sailed over to Ireland last year, and a school of dolphins followed him one night - he said he found a way to communicate with them by scraping his crocs along the side of the deck & they seemed to respond to the noise..and almost seemed to 'answer' him! And there was phosporescence on the water that same night - it sounded absolutely magical - a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I was so envious of him.

lol that made me laugh out loud, crocs commnicating with Dolphins! I guess you had to be there it sounds so bizarre!! But maybe the Cuban dolphins were responding to Billy Jean and so that's just as bizarre lol!!
Looking forward to ...

The new skiing season is only 6 months away.

Brighton's first Home game next season ... 14th August.

More nights at the Casino this summer.
I'm looking forward to getting rid of this avatar.

we woz robbed
and
we woz crap
Hiya JJ.

Dot - what was strange for me when J sent me the text saying he was "rubbing his wet croc along the deck....." was that I (typically) mis-read it as "rubbing his wet c...... along the deck".
I almost choked. I thought what a strange man I had hooked myself up with & should I be worried? ;-)
