What can get oil (olive) off an emulsioned wall?

it will penetrate into the surface,, but you could try displacing it with a lighter oil like eucalyptus, then use lighter fuel, follow with mild detergent but i suspect you may mneed to seal the spot and repaint it........ not a hand print from an unruly masseur was it....

Lighter fuel? Me? Perhaps not :-(
There would be no wall left at all, or building.

Think I'll just fairy liquid it, then paint over?

I think our local Wilko has just such a product.
Salla.......just add a bit of balsamic vinegar and get licking.

Mmmm McM - I could slap some lettuce on it while I'm at it I suppose. And a slice of boiled egg and maybe an anchovy?
