the one im going to see tomorrow - T reg, petrol 1.4, 71000 miles, £850 buy it now, and judging by all your responses, it's going to be a bit of a nightmare if i decide to buy it?
I had a succession of three Rover 200's (from new) between 1995 and 2004, the final one being the 2 litre diesel.
They were allocated as company cars and I was clocking up about 25,000 per year.
Maybe I was lucky as none of these cars gave me any problems, and the diesel was an absolute joy to drive.
okey dokey, thanks for the advice, the only reason it would be ideal for me is because it is close to me and it is bang on my budget and it was also one of the cars i was looking at getting originally. i shall keep an eye out for any problems when i go to see it tomorrow. Thanx guys.
it will just be my first car redhelen, i will probably run in it in to the ground, use it until it dies i suppose, just want a runaround really, getting to college and work etc...
I bought 214SLI new in 1992 & sold it to a cousin in 2000. He continued to used it daily until about 12 months ago when it went to the garage in the sky. No cylinder head problems or major problems of any kind during its life as far as I know. Not really sure why he try and get a few quid for it.
