Why is Declan a different bloke this week?

I watched it today and didnt even notice. Mind you I was also on here at the same time. If you watch Home and away, they change regularly, and then back to the original. They obviously must be taking a break or whatever, but do they think we wont notice ?

I dont really watch neighbours anymore but still know some of the characters and watch it the odd time and Im sure that guy who plays lucas now orignally played Darren Stark? (the original) years ago or maybe Im losing it can anyone else remember?(sorry cassa hope its ok to ask a question on your post hope thats ok).

I know occationaly when the regulars are ill they have a replacement. Is the 'real' Declan off in the army then? And if so how long will he be away? I prefer the original... They just keep saying the part of Declan is being played by whoever today. The opening credits have the new one as well?

I find it really hard to take to a new actor when they do that 2 expceptions kim metcalf replacing daniella westbrook in eastenders and kate ford placing whatever her name was in corrie,just checked out the new declan on the neighbours site but didnt see anything about wether the old dec would return I would say its unlikely.
