We watched Top Gear last night,i bet Reliant are really pleased with Jeremy Clarkson giving them a bad name, We owned different Reliants for about 30yrs,and they didn't tip over once.The only time we saw it on it's side was when some drunks going home tipped it over.

Ithought it was quite funny about the Reliant sketch. I much prefer a wheel at each corner though, Joanne

My RAF mate tipped one on it's side at Stowmarket traffic lights years ago around 1978, pulling off around the junction at lunchtime!
Onlookers laughing as he pushed it upright by himself and came back to base .. for us to laugh at all the scratched and battered side.

I couldn't stop laughing at the reliant bit, just his attitude towards it (so careless) love it!!!

Islowry, we now have a car with four wheels,it's a microcar,still only a motor cycle licence.it suits us old fogeys,must admit it feels more stable.

We once turned one round so it faced the other way at the end of a night out!
Would've loved to see the guys reaction the following morning to see if he noticed.

sounds like what my dad did when he was at school, one of his teachers had a reliant so him and his mates, one lunch decided to pick up a corner each and go and dump the reliant in a nearby brook, needless to say, dad and his mates did not get away with it! lol :-)

Don't think Reliant can be too upset... they stopped manufacturing cars nearly a decade ago.
