When you go to work are you smart dressed i.e. suit or casual i.e jeans and. what what your preference be?

I always dress smart for work and wish we had a more casual dress code.

we have "dress standards" at work, no jeans, trainers, lycra (no one's checked my knickers yet).. there's a long list of no-no's which I flaunt.. but not enough to get into trouble! proper smart suit when I'm in court though, usually once or twice a week.

I work in catering so we have to wear uniform. As you well know, kitchens are hot places. I wish we could wear t shirts instead of overalls and as for hats ! They make your head sweat. I always dress smart but casual to and from work as you never know who you will meet. As long and you look clean and your clothes are clean I dont think it really matters. My son has to wear a suit. He can take off the jacket in the office but when going out on work related jobs has to be really smart. He used to love wearing suits for work but now he hates it, especially when its hot
