How do I find out if someone has died? I don't mean checking for pulses etc, I wondered if there was a web page that lists people who have died in the UK in recent years. many thanks....

I can check for you up to 2005, what was their name at death and approx age and location?
If it is after 2005 then you may have a longer job as you would need to check the local regsiter office or local newspapers online

Was he Clive M Maloney.....mother's maiden name Murray?

There is only that one clive maloney born in england in or near 1960, the one in 1964 is too late i think, but no death registration

I've checked original death registrations on genealogist from 1978 to 1983 and found nothing. Also according to genealogist nobody called Clive Maloney died between 1984 and 2005.

What makes you believe this person died at that time whilst in the army?
