Lost an internet friend
14 Answers
I had a chum ( not on this site) who I'd been chatting to for about 3 years. We both had geriatric dogs which were our main topic of conversation.
I knew she had cancer but she didn't dwell on it, she was more concerned about her dog.
To get to the point she has died (she was only 41).
I just feel gutted about someone I'd never met, didn't have an address or phone number for, not even an e-mail address yet I feel I knew her so well and have lost a good friend.

I knew from the start he was very ill and over the 4 years we chatted he got worse. He sent me pics of his place ect. But I dont know if anything has happened or if he is in hospital.I do have his address as we sent xmas and birthday cards and he was a genuine friend. I am going to write and see if I get a reply.Yes it is a small world and you are lucky when you do meet a genuine person.
