The Royal Irish Regiment
The Royal Irish Regiment have returned to Iraq for the second time and are seeking pen friends. They say "Mail is an incredibly important part of the process of keeping morale up among the company, and there is no worse feeling than that of receiving no mail. Even though you may have spoken to family and friends only the day before, not receiving a letter can often make people disheartened and feel farther away from home". If any AnswerBankers would like to correspond, the person co-ordinating pen friends is Lt. James Berry at Rangers, "C" Company, IR Irish, Shaibah Logistics Base, Basra, Iraq BFPO 645. Postage is entirely free because it is a BFPO address. A map showing the whereabouts of Basra is here . (Al Basrah).
