I am a courier for a local company in NH, I drive a route to NJ twice a week, besides my daily routes. The trip consists of a non-stop 12-14 hour round trip drive, sometimes as long as 18 hours depending on weather conditions. It starts in NH and ends up in NJ by way of MA, RI, Conn, NY and then stop to unload in NJ. The company allows NO stop time except for fuel and unloading. I was wondering if someone could give me some insight if this is legal or not? It is one hell of a trip!!!! Thank you! HK
We're on the UK feepe1, so the rules may well be different - but driving here is very strict. You can only drive for 4.5 hours non-stop if you work for an EU-registered company, then have 45 mins break.
