"registers where knights once fought" The answer is clearly lists but where do "knights once fought "come in? Also "plot to raise interest rate" is obviously intrigue but where does "rigue"come in or am I just being pedantic!

lists are where knights used to joust .
Lists - the jousting-ground used by knights

Intrigue - would serve to raise one's interest (rate)...
lists will be correct, I think, as "the lists" was the name of the area were they jousted
