Are there certain things that get up your nose for no reason?

I know I'm being a bit awkward but my neighbour works in a bank and seems to be a bit up himself. When he leaves the house in the morning, he steps out of his front door two steps to his car parked in front of his garage, takes off his jacket puts it on the back seat of his car and drives off in his shirt sleeves. When he comes home he gets out of his car takes his jacket off the back seat puts it on and walks two steps into his house from which I assume he takes off his jacket again. All this palaver over his jacket makes me smile and also annoys me for some reason. In winter its the overcoat as well He seems to take ages to getting off to work.
Does anyone else prefer to drive in their shirt sleeves?

Yes he looks smart going off to work Oscarina, and vagrant and dothawkes have made me see it from their point of view, thanks. Although it's only a short step to his car!

I get annoyed with my neighbour in his k reg bmw 3 series, its a pile of nails and everyday it takes him around 10 full mins to reverse off his drive, I just hear the revving for an eternity, only for him to be back home within 10 mins..

I don't know if this is pride in appearance or snobbery but I knew a man who lived in a seaside resort down south. Every morning he would leave the house in his pin stripped suit and carrying a briefcase.
He would catch the train to the next town along the coast, go into the stations toilets and change into his bus drivers uniform. having spent the day driving his bus the whole procedure would be done in reverse for the home journey.

Lol Albags. They must have been awkward moments for you. Cazzz it is so annoying and yet amusing seeing some peoples' habits, that would annoy me. Vulcan I can't believe someone would go to such lengths what a snob, there must be a time when he slips up.

Sorry funnygirl didn't know boxy was on about you, bit slow on the uptake sometimes, I'm not a curtain twitcher, can't miss him.
