I have a new video camera and have loaded my memory card on to my computer, intending to copy to DVD. After much head scratching, I realise I do not have a DVD facility on my computer. What can I do? Will I have to buy a new computer (please not) or is there any way I can get this facility added. Please make any suggestions idiot proof.

You can buy external DVD writers. We had to do the same when we bought a camera.
What do you mean by "I do not have a DVD facility on my computer" ? You do not have a DVD drive that is capable of writing ?

If you have a desktop then there may well be space to add one. Failing that, you may be able to purchase an external one, at more cost, and use that.
