Bring it on Matt - thanks to DW, I've just nipped over to u-tube to listen to the above song. Brilliant, awe-inspiring - eee by gum it's near about brought me to moisture in the old eye corners.

Matt Monro, in my opinion, surpassed every other singer of his type. Frank Sinatra came nowhere near him.

He did have a lovely voice. I'm far too young to know what he looked like though. Oh, and I also like Andy Williams.

Matt Monro was short and quite tubby. Yes Andy Williams had a lovely voice. There used to be a singer called Michael Holiday who had a wonderful voice too. I believe he commited suicide. I also like Johnny Mathis.

Lofty you have mentioned my two all time favourite artistes. Matt Monroe, 'On days like these' was a favourite of mine. And Michael Holliday, 'The story of my life' I often wondered what prompted him to commit suicide.
