Anyone tried it?

You know those silly spam type emails you always get? Anyone ever replied? I have to admit to a new hobby i've recently started and it's hilarious!

I'm currently starting a romance with a guy from Scotland (yeah right) who just so happens to be currently in south africa (get away, who'd have thunk it?) for the world cup.

I'm gleefully and sadistically having a blast. He so far hasn't gone beyond confessing his love for me, well im loaded as im living off my late husbands inheritance- what's not to love? He hasn't, as yet, got round to asking me for money.

Yes im probably going to go to hell for it, but this is awesome fun, will keep you all updated ;-)

I think he's falling for me, im now his baby (awww, feel all warm and fuzzy inside)

The poor love hasnt had a girlfriend since his wife died leaving him and his daughter alone, you're all crying for him aren't ya? ;-)

He's currently asking for more pictures of Martine, i mean me, so im off to kindly oblige him.
You have to feel sorry for the people who fall for this rubbish. I know they should not be so naive but I guess if your lonely... I would never fall for it, I am way to suspicious of people.
Hey BOO , you would do well starting up one of these Sex Chat line sites on 0898. You could make a fortune !! lol
I heard some American lady got scammed for $400,000 and another person got duped out of 2 milion because of the promise of 20 million. Not all that fall for this are lonely widows, some are just plain greedy!
I know Greedy. But people genuinely do fall for it. THe stupid lads go for a "money ask" after only a few weeks. The clever ones are in for the long haul and will spend months cultivating their victim. The trouble is, if you meet someone on a dating site, they send you pics, you start emailing and then you have telephone calls etc but all with a plausible excuse as to why he can't come over at the moment people DO fall for it. They do fall in love. Lads are a bit clever and go for the ones who appear most vulnerable. If you write a dating profile which smacks of lonely and desperate, that is guaranteed to get more lad hits than one of a confident, attractive type.

My sis in law is currently being scammed. (Although it is being "dealt with"). She is lonely, vulnerable and extraordinarily naive but what doesn't help is that her brother (my BF) and her best friend both met their partners on the internet so she is hopelessly in love!!

I hate these kind of people, they are just money grabbing scum, so i dont feel guilty in the slightest doing this.

I'm not entirely sure if i should up the ante and send a topless picture, providing Martine (I mean me!) ever did one that is and i find it! What ya reckon?
''send a topless picture''

Jesus... some of us are eating lunch you know ;-p
Lol Boo....
Send Photo of some floozy with the biggest pair of Boobs you can find as he would be none the wiser. Promise him the earth !! He He
they are just money grabbing scum, yes they are scum but let's not forget that many live in squalid conditions, no jobs available, 20 family members living in a room and starving. What would you do to survive out there?
send a photo of someone who looks an blooming fool and he would probably prefer that more
Boo, i don't think martine ever got her boobs out though.. this is hilarious though haha :)
Lol! Not heard of this before but sounds fun... Unfortunately I'm way too lazy to participate but will live vicariously though you!

crazylegs- my heart bleeds for them it really does. I have somewhere, a copy of several months work by one particular nasty scammer. His "victim" said that they could send X amount of money to them or buy desperatly needed medical care for a child, what were they to do? Guess which option the scammer said he should do. No sorry, i don't care how poor they are- they're scum, and as such I'm piling on the pressure to one of them.

CD- if you ever do get up the energy, i highly reccommend it!

Damn, Martine never did topless? Well he's plum out of luck on those then isn't he?
If they are that damn hungry, they should spend the money they have on feeding their family - NOT on buying time in an internet cafe. The more successful ones have several houses and big flash cars. Whichever way you look at it, they are crooks. Although 419 seemingly originated in Nigeria (it was called 419 from the Nigerian Penal code), there are scammers all over the place - I've seen people from Canada, US, France, the UK (yes, really), Russia, Malaysia. Plus those that are able to communicate in English are the better educated ones!!

Did you et my last PM barmaid?

I sent you a copy of bit of our emails. Which point do you think he'll start tapping me up for money?
Maybe its about time I pulled my donations back from all those Grannies I've adopted in Nigeria. I thought it was suspicious when one asked me could I send four 24" Aluminium wheels for her 4X4.
