Last Monday i dropped my daughter and her boyfriend off at the airport and it didn't cost me a jot as long as i only stayed no more than 10mins. Today i picked them both back up from the airport and it costs me £1.00 just to pick up/drop off..........What do AB'er's think to that?

50p each way. not bad.

reminds me of a girl at our school.
i think next time you should make them walk to and from the main entrance and pick them up outside :)

I wouldnt begrudge paying £1 for dropping off, i dont think thats excessive

They have just brought this new charge in red and i can't help but think that the whole thing is a damage limitation excercise due to the fact that the government are bringing in stinging tax increases for flying soon,
well all businesses have to make money somehow.

just annoying that they changed it midway between your visits
I think its daylight robbery. It is the same at Leeds/Bradford airport. You have to park quite a way away from the entrance and its a bit of a walk with a heavy suitcase to get on to the concourse. Everytime I'm dropped off there I wonder if I'm going to make it to the airport pulling the suitcase. Unless of course I pay £1 for a trolley and walk all the way there and back for my case.
at most national railway stations you have to pay at least 20 pence to drop a couple of friends off.
