i would recomend St Tropez Wash Off Instant Glow Body Lotion, 150ml
£12.29 - John Lewis its a good idea to wear gloves to prevent the tan staining your nails.
Marmite.
Mix 1 part bisto gravy powder with 5 parts water and apply it with a pastry brush for a super all over tan
Have you tried some of the sunshimmer type colours? Rimmel and 17 do them and they are immediate colour that you can wash off if you make mistakes. make sure you apply them with gloves though as they can get in below your nails and stain

I did have a rimmel one a while ago chazza but It wouldnt wash off straight away used to get a few days out of it will have another look at the shimmer range less chance of streaks with something like that.
My cousin uses the St Tropez and it always looks real to me.
The best ones I think to use are the gradual ones - i.e. dove summer glow, johnsons holiday sun, L'oreal summer sun etc. You have to apply it over several days, but it builds up gradually and naturally - making you far less susceptible to making mistakes and your eventual 'tan' being patchy.

Well I ended up using st tropez and I didnt even have to buy it a friend had a large wholesale bottle that I borrowed and mitt I am really happy with it was easy to apply because you just used the mitt to blend it in after.I did try a sample of the wash off version but it just wasnt dark enough for me.
Try XEN Dark Tanning Lotion, its around £18.99 but its excellent and that will last you for a long time. I have really pale skin so most tans look orange on me. This XEN is brilliant, it has olive undertones which make it impossible to go orange, it looks really natural and never builds up around your elbows, knees and ankles. Plus you can see it when applying, so it cant go streaky. It doesn't have that horrible tan smell either it smells of almonds its really nice. Its not sticky when drying either.
Give it a go you'll never use anything again I dont, That is Number 1 !!!!!

I wudn't waste 1p on saint Tropez because I paid £26 for a bottle and it was terrible.

:-)
