Hysterical situation where the Receptionist - middle aged Asian lady with a very strong accent - was having great difficulty being understood when she called out patients names. It turned to complete farce when she tried a couple of Polish names. The whole place erupted with mirth. Good news was she saw the funny side of it all.

Do we wait for the punchline...?
Only a couple of polish names.......is it posh where you live?
One of the above mentioned Polish chaps was in for an eye-test. The optomotrist says "Can you read the letters on the third and fourth lines?". To which the Polish guy exclaims "Read them. I know the guy!".

Sorry BOO there is no punchline........this happened.

The Polish are here in some strength but they have to compete with the Romanians and the Indiginent Pakistanis and Indians craft.
I meant "optometrist": maybe I should go and see one:)
