Unfortunately, they catergorised us alongside those with no religion. I don't think they have much of a sense of humour so I don't think there'll be a box for Jedis next time.
A point that I made and had published in the Telegraph reads:
Sir - I count myself among the 390,000 "Jedis" as revealed by the 2001 census (Report, Feb 14). I am sure that 100 per cent of us enjoy and indeed respect the Star Wars films. Given that only 11 per cent now attend church at least once a month, and that dreadful scandals continue to embarrass the Church, could the same be said for this country's Christians?
And, yes, I know I'm showing off. I was chuffed that they put it in and I want everyone to know!!
Seriously, I think there is a lot one can learn from the world of fiction, possibly more than from Christianity or any other religion. However, if you are going to try to emulate anyone from history, then Jesus is a bloody good bet.
