and hit the bluebottle with it. Then while it's stunned you can get to work with the laser pen. Or if you had a really good scalpel you could disembowel it to teach it a lesson.

It is obvious this swatter is not designed to swat but, while standing on its elegant three pronged legs, to scare the fortunate fly into a stupor. Than the subject can be manipulated with various implements such as a laser or whatever.

We use an electric fly swatter. It's like a tennis racquet with an electrified mesh of wires instead of strings. Great fun to listen to them pop as we swat them.

Dealextreme will deliver you a LASER pen which has the power to burn insects quite happily for less than 20 quid. The thing is, anything living that you point it at will bugger off before it gets fried.
