Am having a bit of trouble with the "hidden words" from this today. The words from Saturday were
FOLK FLOOR IGUANA SIGHT

and today's are

ROCK
GLASS
BOARD
GREEN

The only one I can work out is "floorboard".

I am a bit bewildered - what's the difference between this and the KM or MM Links that run on AB over the weekends?

Boxtops - perhaps chox doesn't partake in the comps and just wants the match ups to enter today's Herculis crossword in the paper

Hi chox,
KM and MM links games are just a bit of fun we have on Saturday morning when we try to guess what the links will be. KM uses the link words from the telegraph and MM is set by one of us ( in memory of Michael Mepham) using their own theme.
Come and join us; KM starts early Sat and is set up by seekeerz from OS and MM is run by crofter and starts at 8.45a.m. with the link words being disclosed at 9.00a.m., then there is a rush to get your choice in to score bonus points.
It is all explained in the preamble on Saturday morning. Look forward to you joining us
