How incredibily brilliant is that film? anyway, anyone know where i can get a long jacket like the ones they were? Bear in mind im 16, so i cant afford much. im meaning like �30? is it possible?

You may be able to get a PVC one for that price, but not leather

It's a load of old cobblers. And it seems unlikely you could get a jacket like that for �30, I'm afraid.

Try oxfam for the jacket, pass the barf bag for the film. anything that needs so many sp.effects to justify it's being just ain't worth it. No plot no good actors no interest

In my humble opinion, The Matrix is probably the greatest sci-fi film ever made and Ned is right; Laurence Fishburne is a great actor as is Hugo Weaving. Having said that Keanu Reeves is a plank.

The plot was interesting, but confusing. Hugo Weaving is a good actor, and hes good looking. *ahem* I'll try make one. Ive made a hedgehog out of a pair of tights before.

Yeah, it's a very good film, speaking as someone who loathes sci-fi. Sft42, have you actually seen this film?, tell the truth now, or was it just the laden effects trailer you happened to glance? Is it possible you're being slightly, oh, I don't know snobbish about this film? Just because the film has effects from start to finish doesn't mean to say it has no plot. Very short sighted of you sft42......tut tut. Fine, I'll give you the fact that Keanu is a "bit a wid", do you know the other actors?

the references dotted around the matrix are quite interesting to follow - ive been reading about it recently, i might have to watch it again to pick up on them all.

did you not think the special effects were great though? even if you hated the plot, their use of bullet time had a major impact on cinema.

as for the coat, i think you'd have to dig around ebay or a charity shop - real leather ones won't come cheap. you could imitate, make yourself one - out of black fabric, collect old leather, bin bags....
