I been fiddling with my broadband box, I had to shift it while the carpet fitter laid the new carpet. I plugged it in somewhere else and it didn't work. So I've been on my hands and knees, swearing to myself tangled up in wires. So I'm back on line now.

Oh I see. How are your eaglets, owlets, sproglets getting on boxy? I was reading your post about them the other night. They sound great

They are brill lardy, they're not there at the moment, nipped off for a flap, they've both fledged now. If you go to the site and look at the blog (the headings posted by the wardens, not all the chat) they posted over the weekend about when they expect the birds to migrate (possibly next month), who goes first, where they go, etc. Those people know their stuff.

http://www.thewebbroa...ation.com/swt/swt.php has the blog on it. For a change you can look at cam2 (it's the one with the squirrel, when you click on it) it's the side view, not so clear at times but the main cam is still the one on that site. The blog is just to the right of the cam screen.

gran - better late than never but I saw a barn owl circling a field today in broad daylight - not for the first time either. I was on a quiet country road so just pulled up to watch him - lovely sight too ♥

I love to see them ttfn but I haven't seen any around where I live, even though we are in a semi-rural pocket of Leeds. We saw an exhibition of wild birds, earlier this year with a barn owl and the little owl and a tufted eared owl, but I'd rather have seen them in the wild.

In the winter on the way home from Big Sis' I can often spot them in the main beam perching in the tree branches that go over the road through woodland. They do look magnificent gran. Boxy's birds are ospreys, by the way.
