Seriously AV - I know you like 'proper' questions - what exactly IS a spin doctor? I know Labour had them and Alistair Campbell was one - but was is the definition of a spin doctor?

salla a spin doctor is someone who can take a pile of poo and turn it into candy floss, you us all to swallow

It's someone who promotes propaganda to persuade the public to follow the opinion of the government.

For example, the government might build a new incinerator near a school and the public would be outraged. The spin doctor would say, "that it will reduce pollution and create 100 jobs" and so a lot of the public will accept it.
