Anyone else had probs with Sky TV the last couple of days?? Couldn't get any progs, couldn't record.
It kept flashing up "Technical Problem try Later" It was soo frustrating, missed progs I wanted to see and couldn't use the recording facility, same problem. Grrrr!!
When I phoned 'em, they weren't a bit concerned, just said switch it off at the wall & switch it on in 3 mins. Evidently it is all due to abnormal weather conditions, It did work but made me question if we really are in the 21st century.

I used to love watching the shop assistants, pat the butter with those wooden paddles and put it in greaseproof paper.
My Aunt used to live in the first house next to the Plough Pub in Ilford Lane - the pub has been pulled down now and a Poly Clinic stands in its place.
My father-in-law was the manager in the Volunteer Pub on the A13 - thats where I met Mr. Den. I was also a barmaid in there.

keep on pestering them until they give you a new box. Why should you pay monthly
rental for no service. They have tried to fob me off with all this weather rubish
before until I told them that my next door neighbhour has perfect reception and the
same weather. When the engineer came out he was suprised I could receive any
picture at all. The thing was nearly burnt out. What did he expect the box was ten years old or more.I now have a brand new box that is working in naff weather conditions.

Blooody Heck, you have stirred things Den, Yep I used to get sugar in Saunsbury's they would weigh it & put it in thick blue paper bags. What about 'Blakes Market'? I bought my first pair of wedge shoes with my first wages from there.
Ahh! Barking Park, my friend Jacky & I spent all our Thursday afternoons there at the outdoor pool. With some lads we used to bunk over the wall & go swimming at mid-night too (In the buff)
The Volunteer? a barmaid? My friend Colleen McMaster worked there too. Many a time I had 1 over the 8 in there.
Blimey Den we must be p***ing everyone off with our Memories, sorry folks.
